Hi everyone,
We know it’s been way too long since we last updated, but it’s been a busy month! Lauren graduated from Winthrop University on May 9 and has started a job at a new restaurant in Rock Hill called Citizen Corners. Mike has been busy working and trying to find a full-time job for next school year. We’re sorry we haven’t been able to write any reviews, but we hope to do one soon! In the meantime, come visit Citizen Corners on the corner of Main St. and Caldwell St. in Rock Hill! Hope you’re all well.

My husband and I were not impressed with Citizen Corners. Perhaps it is because it is still new and working out the kinks. The hostess waited on us-our waitress never came and took over. My husband sent back his filet-it was cooked perfectly rare, except it had a burnt taste. The manager said he tasted it and he thought it was fine-he doesn’t have much of a palate if he thought that. What got me about it was, he had come over while my husband had stepped away, and when I told him what was going on , he said that he would wait and talk to the gentleman when he got back…I guess he felt I wasn’t qualified to comment since it wasn’t my meal. Regardless, he did get another filet, and it was delicious. I had the stuffed flounder with the grits, and the grits were under seasoned and lumpy. The appetizers were the mussels and the humus. That humus was just plain not good-until you loaded it up with salt and pepper. However, the mussels were delicious-probably the best thing we had overall.
We will visit again-like I said perhaps it’s just got to work out the kinks…
